Hello! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by.

My name is Rabbi LeighAnn Kopans. I was ordained by the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2008, and I worked as the rabbi at The Ohio State University for five years. Eventually, several of my former students asked me to officiate their weddings.

That’s how I discovered that officiating weddings is one of my favorite rabbi things to do. Baby namings are so much fun, too, especially when I’ve officiated the couple’s wedding.

I especially love working on Jewish and interfaith wedding ceremonies, especially with couples who don’t know much about Jewish wedding customs. Being a go-to resource on Jewish wedding planning for interfaith couples and Jewish couples alike is a dream come true to me.
