Meet the people I’ve had the privilege and honor to work with.
They have trusted me with some of the most important moments in their lives.
We’ve laughed and cried together.
They are family.
Dr. Colby and Emily S
Colby and Emily called me several months before their scheduled interfaith wedding in Lexington, Kentucky. This wedding was a first for me - the couple wanted their Jewish and Catholic heritages to be equally and richly represented in the ceremony. They had a priest from Emily’s childhood who couldn’t officiate, but who I could call whenever I needed to. My response - Looks like I’ve got a lot of learning to do!
Drs. Rachel & Josh G
These two called me to officiate their Jewish / interfaith wedding over a year and a half before their date. The bride had done her research. She knew that it was important to both of them that they find a rabbi to conduct their interfaith wedding ceremony, and she had read that it might be difficult.
